It was the opportunity of a lifetime, a rare glimpse into the world of the eyewear craftsmen of Sabae, Japan. The collaboration with TVR afforded us access to a scattering of charming workshops spread across town, manned by dedicated workers whose routine has stayed the same for the last few decades, and whose machineries and tools are the epitome of Japanese's relentless obsession with perfection.
