SPACES • JUN 2024 THE LEGACY @ TAMAN OUG Finally a more refreshing residential property design this part of kl. This twin V-shaped block development is designed to impress, with its symmetry orientated to catch the most eyeballs from the busy traffic turning in from Old Klang Road. Loving the generous use of red bricks to elevate the style and lend a dash of striking tone to the facade.
URBAN EXPLORING • JUN 2024 ABANDONED HOTEL PROJECT Not sure what's the story behind this seemingly abandoned hotel project in Ipoh oldtown, but I could not stop admiring its beautiful facade everytime I pass by.
SPACES/AERIAL/STREET • AUG 2023 MAIWP BUILDING @ CHOW KIT Conjuring images of a particular common electrical household appliance, this new multi-tiered beauty in Chow Kit is best documented against a dreamy sunset. Can't wait for the interior lights to be on.
SPACES/ AERIAL • APR 2023 CAPRI BY FRASER This is easily one of the prettiest buildings in the city center's cluster of high rises. The towering 43-storey Capri by Fraser may sit on a rather narrow strip of land, but it certainly reaches high, affording views of the surrounding especially from its rooftop pool.
STREET/ AERIAL/ SPACES • JUL 2022 RAZAK CITY RESIDENCES Finding Hong Kong in Kuala Lumpur. We really don't need to travel far anymore to find the high-density, neatly-packed urban dwelling aesthetics that are synonymous with Hong Kong. Razak City is a development that features a series of 48-storey towers packing a total of 5748 units within the 22-acre land it's sitting on. Perhaps an impressive sight for urban explorers, and not so much if you're waiting for the elevators.
AERIAL/ URBAN EXPLORING • JAN 2021 KL TOWER The other contender for everyone's favourite architecture in KL, KL Tower makes frequent appearances in the urban explorers' work. Here's and compilation of some aerial shots done of this beauty.
URBAN EXPLORING • OCT 2020 Here's an album dedicated to the urban landmark of it all, the twin towers that have been so quintessentially Kuala Lumpur that despite decades since their completion, they continue to outshine every other buildings that come even after it. Words can't fully describe our love for these two architectural marvel, and so we pointed our cameras and, more recently, drones at them.
URBAN EXPLORING • APR 2021 TAMAN BAYU TEBRAU Launched in 1999, Taman Bayu Tebrau was a residential project that was expected to complete in 2005. It subsequently stalled after the developer got hit by a financial crisis. This ill-fated project remains uncompleted despite a more recent effort by the government to revive it. The abandoned site joins the numerous other constructions in the city that suffered the same outcome.
SPACES/ AERIAL • AUG 2020 ARTE MONT KIARA Here's a first look at one of the city's most anticipated upcoming residential condo project. This gorgeous piece of architectural work is already turning heads even when it's still a few months away from completion. Designed by Spark Architects, and developed by Nusmetro, I'm looking forward to the three towers lending a cool twist to Mont Kiara's upcoming skyline.
URBAN EXPLORING/ AERIAL • JAN 2020 PENANG BRIDGE To soar above Penang's iconic bridge and document its beauty upclose, that was perhaps one of the earliest motivation of the purchase of my drone. I just didn't know that this dream will only come true two years after finally owning one, but it was better late than never. And what a visual feast it was.
AERIAL • DEC 2018 KUALA LUMPUR The adventure continues as I bring the trusty DJI Mavic Pro along for more flights around the city I called home. Still feeling the high from soaring above the usual street-level viewpoints, going where no camera has gone before, to discover fresh perspectives of which to experience the city by.
AERIAL/ URBAN HERITAGE • AUG 2018 It's the northern most part of peninsula Malaysia that I've been and I'm glad heartdrone came along to take some shots of the pretty looking Alor Setar Tower during sunset. One day I'll be back to cover more of the town's other charming angles.
AERIAL/ URBAN HERITAGE • APR 2018 #HeartDrone finally got a taste of the old town of Ipoh in this short assignment trip up north, and we're in for a sweet treat of charming vintage architecture from the state mosque to public housing. Am definitely not done yet, so till we are back again.
TRAVEL/AERIAL • SEP 2017 #heartdrone gets its first taste of Europe, though a seemingly minor crash on the 4th day seriously limited its gimbal movement and stability. It's a piece of good lesson for me nevertheless, to never take for granted that the drone will always listen to my every command and to be ready to handle any unpredicted behaviour at any time during flight.

URBAN EXPLORING/ AERIAL • JAN 2024 This is the reason to miss the wet season in KL. You'll never know what pleasant surprise awaits your drone on a misty morning when the city is shrouded in low-hanging clouds.
AERIAL/ URBAN EXPLORING • MAY 2023 KEMENSAH - KLANG GATES DAM HIKING The view of KL from the Klang Gates Dam must be one of my top spots for the prettiest vantage point of the city. And I finally got a chance to to see this view with my own eyes, or technically through the aerial eyes. Definitely worth the 1.5-hour hike in from the trailhead.
AERIAL/ URBAN EXPLORING • APR 2023 This curious-looking structure in the morning mist is the perfect excuse for me to conquer my acrophobia. It was almost three years ago when the FRIM Forest Skywalk opened during the pandemic, I’m glad I finally made the trip to see this beauty up close.
SPACES/AERIAL • MAR 2022 PROPERTY PORTFOLIO FOR This assignment brought us on an amazing race trip across a few cities in Peninsula Malaysia, where we covered 5 different malls owned by Capitaland within and outside of the Klang Valley region. These are Jumpa/Sungai Wang @ Bukit Bintang, The Mines @ Sri Kembangan, 3 Damansara @ Damansara, East Coast Mall @ Kuantan and Gurney Plaza @ Penang.
SPACES/ URBAN EXPLORING • SEP 2021 TSLAW TOWER Dubbed as Malaysia's first ever 360 LED building facade display, the magic that has transformed many of China's city skylines has finally arrived here in Malaysia. TSLaw Tower may be dwarfed by Exchange 106, but it certainly has enough tricks up its sleeve to catch your attention. Can't wait to see what else is coming.
URBAN EXPLORING/AERIAL • 2019 ONWARDS KUALA LUMPUR: One of the most important aspect of urban life is public transportation, and no documentation of the city will be complete without this angle. I hope to be able to continue building on the collection here.
URBAN EXPLORING/ AERIAL • APR 2021 ABANDONED VEHICLE DEPOT What was supposed to be a quick brunch stopover during a work trip down south turned out to be our coolest urban decay find in the recent months. This sprawling visual feast got me jumping in delight at its sheer vastness and potential. Wish we had the whole day here.
SPACES • APR 2021 ARTE MONT KIARA Mont Kiara's shiny new landmark has finally been unveiled, complete with its color-shifting led fins on the facade that give this part of town quite a visual feast when night falls. This album features the development's facade as well as the ground level lobby area. Be sure to check out the other accompanying albums for photos of the rest of the spaces within.

AERIAL/ URBAN HERITAGE • NOV 2017 Tangkak may not be the most spectacular of towns but its charms kept me occupied nevertheless for a few hours as I took my Mavic Pro for a spin around its heritage landmarks.
TRAVEL/ AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY • MAY 2017 The opportunity to explore New South Wales would be awfully wasted if the sights are not also experienced with #heartdrone. Shot entirely on the DJI Mavic Pro.
TRAVEL/AERIAL • OCT 2017 The showcase of Hokkaido's beauty would be incomplete without some shots from above to marvel the country's obsession with everything orderly and organised.

I'd look forward to the opportunity of exploring the interiors one day.
URBAN EXPLORING/ AERIAL • SEP 2021 RIVER OF LIFE/ MASJID JAMEK The story of Kuala Lumpur, told in one frame. We can't get any closer than with the image of Masjid Jamek sitting at the confluence of Gombak river and Klang River. And the River of Life project elevated the dramatic scene further with dreamy blue perimeter lightingd and the intermittent mist that magically transform the mosque into one that is seemingly floating in the clouds. This is one spot that has to be seen with one's own eyes, and sometimes one's drone.
AERIAL • JUL 2019 KUALA LUMPUR The fourth compilation and to think that this whole aerial photography thing was just a passing phase last time! I'm addicted to seeing the city from a fresh perpective and I don't see the end to it.
AERIAL • JUN 2017 KUALA LUMPUR My search for a fresh new perspective on the growing set of urban architectural photography has finally pushed me now to unfamiliar grounds. The fear of heights proved to be no deterrance in turning me into a pilot of the cute little yet powerful flying machine we call the Mavic Pro. With drone photography came videography as well since stills alone are no justive to the grand view from above. And so the past month proved to be a month of new learnings and experiences. And I'm looking forward to experiencing the city in a new light.
WEDDINGS • OCT 2017 JASON & CHIA CHI PREWEDDING After a few months of droning around shooting buildings and random objects, I finally got my first taste of using the Mavic Pro for my prewedding assignment. It was a scorching hot morning in Georgetown, and the wooden pier of Tan Jetty was not the easiest place to navigate. Thankfully the shots that we got made it all worth the effort.
AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY • MAY 2017 The exploration of the world from above continues in Singapore after having warmed up to the taste of flight in Hong Kong. AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY • APR 2017 Hong Kong could not be a more apt location as the first overseas destination for #heartdrone, its dizzying array of urban activities now unveiled in a fresh perspective as seen from up above the air. I had wanted to cover more locations but unfortunately the weather condition was not the most friendly for the little flying machine. Hope to be back soon for more.
SPACES/AERIAL • AUG 2017 Part of the Jotun Asia engagement, I had the opportunity to experience Jakarta from the air. Hope to be back to cover more interesting places there.
