There may be no other place as near to the city yet as detached from city life than Sungai Lima. Sharing the same island as its more popular neighbour, Pulau Ketam, this fishing village is famous for its production of dried shrimps. While the volume of this industry has been shrinking due to the migration of the village population to the city, we still managed to catch glimpses of the whole process, and had a pleasant time observing and documenting the daily life of the locals.
