Been dreaming about this place ever since I discovered it on social media while being locked up at home in 2020. The real thing is even more captivating. Nestled in the dramatic folds of the slopes of Gunung Sumbing, about a three-hour drive from Yogyakarta, is a vegetable village that is now one of my top travel experiences of the last decade. I’m already dreaming of returning before I left.
