Definitely one of my top local travel experiences of the year, this boat cruise from Kampung Beng is worth every minute of that three-hour drive from KL. Abang Lan who runs the Mini Amazon tour gave us a great insight into the lake ecosystem of the Sungai Perak dam, the lotus lake being the highlight of the trip.
