Built in 1972, this curious-looking red and white retro structure by the sea has teased my imagination ever since I caught sight of it online. And the real thing is even more fascinating! The entire experience, from crossing over the thin metal bridge on a really windy day to taking the spiral staircase at its core downwards to the underwater aquarium, felt like I was starring in a retro sci-fi movie.
