It was that perfect sunny day for an island as colorful as Burano, where houses are traditionally painted in bright hues so that fishermen returning from the sea would be able to find their houses even in thick fog. Together with Murano and Torcello, they make up the three picturesque islands in the Venetian lagoon. Just more reasons to be back!
