It's been my dream to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Penang, and I finally got the opportunity to do so this year. If Georgetown was already charming on usual days, the touches of red deco added another layer of magic to the visual feast. I only wish that I had enough time to stay on till the Jade Emperor celebrations. That's something to look foward to next year then.
