It's time to catch the flying train again. After having tasted the joyride that’s the Shonan Monorail in Kanagawa, I’m back in Japan for their second suspended train system in the country - the Chiba Urban Monorail. Against the backdrop of the sakura blooms during spring, the scenes of these floating trains snaking their way between buildings feel right out of a retro scifi movie. It's strange why the city is not flooded with visitors to admire this engineering marvel.
