We came in search of the magic that made this place deserving of the title India's first UNESCO World Heritage City, and found it while navigating the labyrinthine alleys of the old quarters, choked with architectural details and bustling street scenes and everything in between. Ahmedabad is not for the faint-hearted, but among the overwhelming cacophony of traffic, crowd and noise, this city will charm you with the truest of smiles and warmest of hearts.
