TRAVEL • AUG 2018 • BANGKOK, THAILAND
A mixed bag of archi shoots, street shoots, shopping and food-hunting, the Bangkok experience continues to remain varied and captivating no matter how many times I return.

A site that has been on my to-drone list for the longest time, Mahanakhon Tower was definitely one of the most challenging one, given the lack of safe take-off and landing sites and its close proximity to surrounding buildings. But I'm glad I was able to check this off the list on a beautiful evening.
Minimis Hostel. First time here, perhaps the last time too. Gorgeous interior architecture, but rather sucky room layout and service.
TCDC. Thailand Creative and Design Center. Photography is apparently not allowed here so try and be as subtle as possible.
Siam Discovery's freshly refurbished retail spaces certainly has quite a few instagrammable corner. This light installation area is definitely my favourite.

The elevated pedestrian space at the intersection of Phayathai and Rama I affords quite a few interesting vantage points for some urban exploring.
Our favourite noodle place in Silom. They have decent chicken rice too.

On Lok Yun, perhaps the most classic looking breakfast place in Chinatown that's popular with both tourists and locals alike.

Caught sight of a photoshooting session in progress at DAG, Warehouse 30.

Another shot that I've been wanting to do, located at this beautiful sunlit Starbucks at Sathorn Square.

MBK may not be the most sexy-looking building around, but it's got a stretch of colorful metallic panel just on the way to the National Stadium Skytrain station that may be worth your time. Got the change to collab with a local Thai dancer so this was our playground one evening.
