Hokkaido's charming capital may not be as burstling or edgy as the other larger Japanese cities, but its unmistakable laidback holiday vibe fills the air from the shopping streets to the city parks. I especially enjoyed Moerenuma Park and the sculpture garden in Sapporo Art Park. Can't wait to be back for winter.
